Matt Jacob, a photographic artist renowned for capturing evocative and dynamic moments, draws inspiration from his diverse life experiences. Originally from England and now based in Bali, Matt’s journey from a boy with a disposable camera and dreams of becoming a pilot to a dedicated artist has been shaped by profound challenges, including a cancer diagnosis at a young age. This pivotal experience taught him to embrace the beauty of fleeting moments and channel them into his art.   Matt’s work focuses on authentically portraying the complexities of human nature and the essence of diverse perspectives. He explores the ‘why’ behind his subjects, weaving empathy and artistic intent into his photography. With travel playing a significant role in his creative vision, Matt highlights how new environments continually push him to grow as an artist.   He reflects on the balance between personal passion projects and the demands of commercial work, emphasizing the importance of maintaining artistic integrity in a competitive industry. Matt’s dedication to meaningful storytelling and continuous learning is evident in his approach to mentorship and his relentless pursuit of creating timeless snapshots that resonate with viewers. Judit Prat Martí has always loved taking pictures. Originally from outside Barcelona, Judit started taking classes at Richard Stromberg’s Chicago Photography Classes school while a Postdoctoral fellow at the Astronomy and Astrophysics department at the University of Chicago.
